Sleeping St Joseph Statue 21cm W
“Even when he is asleep, he is taking care of the church! Yes! We know that he can do that. So when I have a problem, a difficulty, I write a little note and I put it underneath St. Joseph, so that he can dream about it! In other words I tell him: Pray for this problem!” Pope Francis said. “Do not forget St. Joseph who sleeps! Jesus slept with the protection of Joseph.”
St Joseph the Worker Statue 25cm
Pope Pius XII instituted the feast of St Joseph the Worker in 1955. St Joseph, the carpenter and foster father of Jesus, is held up as a model of the holiness of human labour. Pius XII emphasised this when he said, “The spirit flows to you and to all men from the heart of the God-man, Savior of the world, but certainly, no worker was ever more completely and profoundly penetrated by it than the foster father of Jesus, who lived with Him in closest intimacy and community of family life and work."
