Devotion to the Holy Face TAN Books
"One thing I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple." How do we behold the beauty of the Lord? How do we console Him and express to Him our love? By contemplating his most Holy Face. Relaying to Sr. Mary of St. Peter His desire that reparation be made for sins against the first three commandments: denial of God, blasphemy, and the profanation of Sundays and Holy Days, Our Lord expressed too His desire that devotion to His Holy Face be made known far and wide. It has consequently become one of the oldest and most powerful devotions we have available to us. Practiced by great saints like St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Gertrude the Great, St. Mechtilde, St. Edmund, and St. Bonaventure, devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus is associated with many miracles, including the Holy Shroud of Turin and the Veil of Veronica. This little treasury contains clear background information and all you need to know to begin the devotion yourself and perhaps introduce others to it too. 74 pages.
